Our client is a high profile not for profit organisation providing a number of important lifesaving services across Australia and overseas. An exciting opportunity is available for a talented individual to undertake the 6-month contract role of Quality Business Partner within the Governance and Engagement – Quality Division
About the role:
Reporting to the Quality Business Lead, the role is to support the organisation to deliver high quality outcomes and fulfils its responsibilities under the quality management system (QMS) by:
- proactively supporting the organisation in resolving quality issues and driving improvements
- provide expertise in the organisation’s quality management system (QMS) to aid in decision-making across all levels of the business
- promote a culture of quality by offering coaching, support and education in all aspects of quality management, problem-solving, and best practices
- make risk-based decisions to determine the fate of non-conforming materials and products to ensure the safety of the product integrity
Demonstrated key competencies/qualifications.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the applicable regulations (e.g. code of Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Demonstrated experience applying regulatory and related principles in the workplace
- Practical experience with quality management systems in a regulated environment
- Proven ability to use problem solving tools (e.g. root cause analysis)
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability to apply risk management and continuous improvement principles
- Ability to develop interpersonal relationships with a range of external and internal customers
- High level computer literacy and competence in a variety of computer software packages
- Demonstrated ability to work within a high paced and high-volume environment
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and facilitation skills
- Experience in coaching and mentoring individuals to enhance their skills and performance. (Desirable)
- Practical experience in the manufacture of therapeutic goods
- Internal auditor (quality system) qualifications
- Experience in, and knowledge of, information systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of the application of process improvement tools (e.g. Lean)
